SignHello is a for-profit Deaf-owned business. This is an optional payment, not a charitable donation, and it is not tax-deductible as a charitable gift.

SignHello is small and Deaf-run. Optional support goes into the work as a whole. We do not earmark one person's payment for one item, and we will not make claims about impact that we cannot back up.

Is SignHello a nonprofit?
No. SignHello is a for-profit Deaf-owned business.
Is this payment a charitable donation?
No. It is an optional payment supporting SignHello's work. It should not be treated as a tax-deductible charitable donation.
Do I need to pay to use SignHello?
No. Every lesson on SignHello is free right now, and you do not need to pay anything to learn. Support is optional.
Does supporting SignHello unlock anything?
No. The payment is optional and does not unlock lessons, certificates, organization services, or special product access.
Is this a subscription?
No. This accepts a one-time payment only. Nothing renews.
Will I receive a receipt?
Stripe, our payment provider, emails a payment receipt to the address you enter at checkout when receipt emails are turned on. It is a standard payment receipt, not a charitable tax receipt.
Can an organization purchase training here?
No. Team training, annual access, and live workshops are arranged separately.
